Nice place but the policies will be the reason we do not come back. They will delay an entire day of appointments by 2-3hours all because they attempt to accommodate severely late individuals. I've been here with my wife for all of our children pregnancies and every time it is the same thing. If the appointment time is 11am expect to be called in by 2pm. They will make you wait 3 hours to accommodate people who arrive 2 hours late to their appointment. Every appointment over the course of 3 pregnancies has been delayed 1 hr past the appointment time. This is by far the worst low grade "birth center". Either they have extremely shitty policies that allow this or they are incompetent.
I had high hopes beginning my prenatal care with CHA, but ended up deeply disappointed and changed practices at 30 weeks. My first few visits went well, but when I began meeting with my main midwife around 20 weeks things got really strange. First of all, we had to wait two hours for our appointment to begin. We actually left for our 20 week scan and came back again before she was able to see us. Fondly remember & have driven my boys back to see CHA Birth center as their place of birth many times! The care recieved was impressive, both knowledgable & compassionate. Being in health care there were concerns for safety, but after noting the expertise of providers, the emergency equipment readily available & the quick path to the OR, my fears subsided.
