He was very friendly and gave a very accurate assessment of my homes value! Very impressed
He was not friendly when he came to our house and acted more like an investigator than an appraiser. Would not recommend. Like Kristi said, this wannabe appraiser is looking for the lowest value possible. Dont use him.
I think he does a very good job and is a nice guy
As a homeowner, I have a lot invested in my house and hope to see that reflected in the appraisal. CGL Appraisals was careful to consider the upgrades and other distinct features of my home that add to the value. The appraiser has to use a variety of comparable homes and has a limited selection of recently sold homes to use. I feel the homes he used as comparables were fair and similarly matched in features to my own. Very nice appraiser and does a very good job. Highly recommend.
If I understand correctly, unless you are specifically named as the client in the appraisal report, you are not the intended user of that appraisal and shouldn't be reviewing it. We had an appraisal done by this company and were satisfied with it. Quick turn around time, honest work, fair adjustments. Our home was valued at the price point we were expecting. Would use again!
