I had the most frustrating and painful experience with CFA Management. In all my 11 years living in New York, I have never encountered a property management company as unprofessional and incompetent as them. I lived in an apartment managed by CFA for five years, always taking excellent care of the place. They don’t answer emails, and don’t return your security deposit.
Not responding to Emails for weeks! Not answering the phone, not returning calls, not returning to messages. NOTHING!
Open 20 hours a week - fake work center of the universe! Don't give a F about their tenants, lazy, unresponsive, shady, corrupt. If your building is managed by CFA you're royally screwed sadly. I would give 0 stars if it was possible.
I wish I could give 0 stars. We are tenants in a building managed by CFA. They have mishandled and mismanaged a construction project that has lasted 20+ months (with an initial project schedule of 3 months) and directly impacted our unit disproportionately. They are completely incompetent in all aspects of building management and essentially non communicative when there is an issue. Can't get a response from anybody. Not a shred of human concern or empathy in these people.
