I called the office today to get a clear understanding of the procedures and policies of the company. My husband and I paid a premium that is about 30 to 50% more than the median range for Florida. During the time of the inspection, the inspector was professional and thorough taking pics of many details in the home with respect to the property. Do not use this company! I’m a home seller, and the buyers hired this company to inspect my property. A couple of days after the inspection, I returned to the home and found several issues: a large section of paint had been peeled off the exterior, the A/C was turned all the way down, and all of my TVs and appliances were plugged in—even though the house is vacant and I keep everything unplugged to reduce fire risk and save on electricity. I will start by saying I have bought and sold 12 homes in my career. So, I have seen LOTS of home inspectors on both sides of the real estate experience. And I can honestly say that Jason with Certified Home Inspectors was the worst that I have seen – by far! We needed a good inspection since we were buying this home quickly and I could not do much myself being far away. I knew right away we were headed for problems. Monica who works in the office is always helpful in getting inspections booked promptly. She is great at making sure based on type of lending, and house features that you are ordering the inspections you need and info for those that may be optional. The inspectors are very thorough and provide reports - usually the same day with photos and videos that are easy to read. Highly recommend!

During our home purchase process, we thought we were merely paying for standard inspections...but we received a LOT more. In addition to providing thorough inspections, Jason and Monica offered a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and local advice. Being new to the area, we asked a lot of questions, and they have so much background experience, they could provide detailed info and opinions.
