Good mortgage co. Small company that is true to it roots. Great and easy to do business with. The owner is fantastic and respects and values her employess.

Absolutely HORRIBLE – Due to Certified Funding we almost lost our house! They were absolutely horrible to work with and I would never recommend them to anyone. They were so slow in getting things done especially through underwriting even when we provided everything as soon as it was requested. We actually had to fork up 20% of our sales price in order to keep our home since the deadline for us to close on this particular house was about to expire. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE. They also were trying to charge me a rate of 9.5% when they originally quoted 8.25% (2nd Lien is always more than 1st.) Our first loan we got fixed 30yr @ 4.85% as we have excellent credit.

Certified funding can provide you with a second lien. Make sure the rates on the second lien are also locked. You might be surprised to learn the rate is higher when you go to close. No notification of a higher rate can throw a wrench in your closing.
