New patients beware!!! Dr. Melissa Dixon and her practice, such as it is- is absolutely horrible. I went in for a screening. The nurse was friendly- but Dixon herself made such a poor first impression- barely greeting me. Her tone was dull- she didn't smile or welcome me in any way. "Any concerns?" She asked abrasively. Who do I talk to about getting an over payment refunded, been calling local office only to be giving the run arounds. It's been over a year that I have requested my refund.
Absolutely a horrible experience. A one star is too much. I was given a medication that was in my chart that I'm allergic too, needless to say, I'm lucky to be alive,I was taken by ambulance and was unconscious for four hours,spent the night in the hospital. The MA was training another MA and went over my allergies! Yet I was still given the epi lidocaine combo! We have written letters,called and called,over 30 times! Horrible. I have never been charged for a Dermatologist to look at me for a screening . I have been seeing a Dermatologist for a long time. Over $91.00. Never again. Don’t be fooled like I was Run!
I have been seeing Dr. Shazia Saif for several years now. As a 911 first responder I was referred to her by the The World Trade Center Health Program at Rutgers University. Dr Saif is very good. She is smart, articulate, kind, personable, relatable, and knows her specialty very well. She is not quick to act but exercises wisdom in her approach to skin care. Waited almost 5 weeks to see the dermatologist. They cancelled my appt after sending me a text to confirm?? Then had the nerve to ask me to reschedule! HELL NO! How unprofessional! Now I’m reading reviews that this is the norm for them. Go elsewhere!!!!!
Do not go here!! The appointment itself was fine, but I'm 3 weeks out from my appointment and STILL have not received my prescribed medication because the office refuses to answer calls and questions from my insurance and the pharmacy. It's unbelievable!!! I can't reach them by phone either! I just keep getting routed to a call center that says the office will call back. I haven't gotten a single call back in 3 weeks.
