Our family tradition is sharing home-cooked comfort food with our community. Our belief: You don't need to mess with the classics, which is why we still have some of the same menu items since we opened in the '50s. We're a place where neighbors, friends, and families come to have a good time over delicious food and drinks. When you walk through the doors at Century House, you don't feel like you're going out to eat -- you feel like you're coming home.

Century House Restaurant has nice seafoods and meat selection This is a nice classier restaurant loccated close to the malls on route 114. They have fine seafood selections and meats as well
Century House Restaurant is reliable Always reliable. Always good. Lunch or dinner I highly recommend. The location is great on route 114 in Peabody. Sometimes the service is slow, but the atmosphere is great.
Very Disappointing Experience Haven't been to the Century House in years. Used to love the place. Went there for a late lunch the other day and both of us were very disappointed in the food. The place was not busy at all when we were there...there's just no reason at all.....11-11-10 He ordered regular cut of prime rib which was just luke warm when served...same as my baked haddock. dinner rolls weren't fresh at all, the salad was warm and both baked potatoes were either very old or had been under the heat lamp for way too l... read more
I'll never go back Went there for breakfast once. Will never go back again. Food wasn't good and the average age of the patrons was 97 years old.
Horrible Waiter! If you want to have a fabulous dining experience; go elsewhere!! Our waiter was absolutely horrible! After ordering a bottle of wine; the waiter dropped it off at our table and walked away. My boyfriend poured the wine and it was quite disappointing. After waiting for 15+ minutes; we were finally able to get our waiter's attention. We ordered another bottle; 10 minutes later, the waiter dropped it off. Great food Great food. Menu is selective but they make up for it in the huge portions that they serve. Love the bean dip and array of breads they serve. It is comfy and cozy. The bar area is large but get there early because it fills up fast.
Wonderful place for lunch or dinner..... A wonderful choice to go for great food. You can usually get the same meals at lunchtime, that they serve at dinner and pay lunch menu prices. They are known for their delicious boneless stuffed chicken. The menu has a great variety from steaks, to seafood to homecooked meals like turkey dinner. Food is trully unexcelled... I love their food, they have the best Haddock Dinner!!! The waitress was very nice. I did have to wait for a table but only 10 min, and several staff members asked me if I had a table yet. They seem to have a lot of regulars with "Frequent Diner" raffles.
