STAY AWAY! They use the cheap substandard construction material and un-professional labor. Their after sale support is horrible and when it comes to honoring the warranties, they reject all claims with a standard "NOT COVERED IN WARRANTY DOC" response. Please do not fall trap to their sub-standard housing projects or you would suffer all the mental trauma like we do every single day living in these matchboxes with so many problems.
Recently purchased a home with them. Overall pretty positive experience. Bones of the home seem to be good. Pricing was comparable to even old homes which need a lot of fixing. Main gripes come from some planning and grading issues, making the level of some exterior parts seem quite off. Some cosmetic things could have been done better, but nothing I can't tweak myself. Overall, our experience with Century has been very mixed, particularly with the home warranty stuff. The customer service in the home warranty stuff has, overall been poor. For starters, Century provided us with a home warranty for one year and then one of the items, which we felt was clearly a home warranty item, a big item, they came back and said they would not honor it and cited bogus reasons for not doing it. I bought a new home from these people and all I can say is that they refuse to help fix things after you buy.. I finally pushed to get a couple things fixed but they refuse to address my siding which the Inspector said needed to be fix, they argue about everything, they closed out my ticket for the siding issue so I'm going to call my Insurance company and talk to them about this and possibly an Attorney... save yourself the headache and buy somewhere else!
