Absolutely do not close on a house with Century Homes without having everything fixed prior. They slow roll on all warranty repairs it seems, and I’m still trying to get an item on my closing checklist addressed from 4/22. It’s almost 2/24.
Get flood insurance. THIS NEIGHBOR HAS HUGE DRAINAGE ISSUE! The exact root of the issue is poor landscaping. Almost everyone’s back yard floods anytime that it rains. Since we moved in to Polo Ranch (02/2021) we’ve heard of five house in the neighborhood take in water during rain storms… It’s not even hurricane season yet and these homes can’t even keep up with heavy rain. You can file as many warrant requests for landscaping but, from our experience, it takes two months to hear back from them and then they deny your request... read more
