Prior to and through closing, agent Carol Z. Koepplin recommended her son, Bradley Koepplin to help us with refinishing floors. Brad was very enthusiastic to price out the job and take our hard earned money. I can only describe Brad’s work as substandard. Brad assured us the areas where stain/finish came off would be warrantied ASAP. No fluke, there were a dozen spots. I bought a house through this agency in Sept 2013. I learned a lot from this agency. #1 always use a seasoned agent (I didn't have one). The seller wanted to stay 30 days after closing. I agreed, here is what a learned the hard way. TAKE PICTURES of everything, especially stuff that is supposed to stay with the house. Insist on 2 walk throughs one at closing and one at the time of possession; Have the seller put money in escrow for damages. Always put in the contract that debris must be removed by the seller.
