After the storm we had nowhere to live so we jumped on the rental that Century 21 manages. There were some issues with the home which we reported upon move in. After two years we decided we would not renew our lease. Not only did they take our security deposit but they charged us more money, and sent a letter that said if we don't pay them by a certain date (which was in 8 days) The bill would go to collection. We've never had a bill go to collection and we've always received our security deposit back so this was extremely a... read more

Business response:

*****, the email used, is not the Leaseholder to this property, but the permitted occupant. Century 21 has had to contact the Leaseholder informing him that we can not take her calls for several unfortunate reasons. Our Vendor reported that she told him that since she has nothing else to do " she loves calling in to the office to make us come out and fix things" One such "repair" was that the "glass slider door was too hard to open". With that she sends in a movie to show how hard it is but she has her 4 or 5 year old (?) da... read more

We were renters through them on a friends property, upon entering the house we listed and photographed damages of at least $3,000. A majority of which we fixed and repainted almost the entire house ourselves because the original home owner was one of my best friends and I refused to leave his property in total disarray. Upon moving out we received a notice of damages that were documented during the move-in inspection and were still charged out of our deposit to fix them. Not only did they charge us, but they also charged the... read more

My husband and I viewed a townhome with *** on May 4th. We submitted all of the required paperwork within 48 hours of that showing. We still have yet to receive a response on if we were accepted or denied and it's been over a month. This is after my husband reached out once a week to only one response from *** stating she has "no updates" over 10 days later (May 15th). My husband then called the number that was given to set up the showing multiple times 10 days after that (May 25th). He was then given another number of who t... read more

I can't stress this enough. Century 21 Cherie Schulz Realty Firm is garbage! My deposit was $950.00 and after I moved out they gave me a measly $125.00. They make up fake damages just to keep your money. We were model tenements for over 4 years and treated our house as if it was our own and the treatment we received when we go orders to move is beyond ridiculous. They have zero respect for the Military! If you want good customer service go and rent or buy from someone else because you will not get it at this business. These ... read more

It is always regretful to read comments such as this, especially ones that are inaccurate and untruthful. *******, who is a permitted occupant-not the leaseholder, came into the Century 21 Cherie Schulz Realty Firm office. She stated she did not have time to do the move out requirements and wanted the employees to do them for her, i.e., get her carpets cleaned, her house cleaned, etc., as she did not have time because she has a military transfer to do. We kindly explained to her that we do understand how a military transfer ... read more

We are writing this review in hopes that someone looking to rent through Century 21 Cherie Schulz Realty of Richlands, NC will look elsewhere. This office is unprofessional, unreasonable, and despicable, to tenants, when moving out of one of their properties. In summary, they seized our security deposit, then made claims of further damage that we did not cause, and charged us outrageously beyond the seized security deposit. The following story describes our scam like experience. My husband was stationed at Camp Lejeune and w... read more

Have a lawyer on retainer and prepare to deal with the most ruthless individual you've ever met. I lack the command of the english language to properly describe how low Cherie Schulz personally is, and her company isn't much better. Do business with anyone else.
