I am a licensed plumber who was contracted for a HUD-funded bathroom renovation in Ocean Springs, MS, where Heather Laughlin was the HUD consultant assigned to the project. All plumbing work was completed properly and on schedule. Despite this, Ms. Laughlin refused to process or “push” the required paperwork, directly preventing the contractor from being paid. If you’re a first time homebuyer. ****STOP *** I purchased my first home with Heather Laughlin under Century 21 Action. She offered to have her husband Michael Anderson of La Restorations do 28k in repairs that was wrapped into my loan. I didn’t realize that the was in the transaction was in the sellers name (her friend) so I wasn’t able to file a claim. She received payment in full at closing. That was months ago.
