My husband had a terrible fall, his leg was bruised and blistered, liquid was oozing out of these wounds. We went to the ER in Durango and was told to make an appointment with the wound clinic. I called and made an appointment right way. The day before his appt I called to verify the time. They had no scheduled apt for him after they were the ones who called back and gave me the appointment date and time. Everyone at Healogics/ Mercy Wound Care has been AMAZING! My mom had open sores on her arms for 7 months. I finally found out about this clinic and brought her in. Within 3 weeks all her wounds were healed! They also helped us get the home-care supplies we needed covered by insurance and shipped to our house. If you have a wound that hasn’t healed in 2 weeks, come here! My mom didn’t even need a referral. Just call Sue at the front desk.
