I was brought to the ER by EMS for really bad abdominal pain. The doctor had no bedside manners was very condescending and didn’t even introduce himself to me. He did absolutely nothing to help me!! The charge nurse was just as bad. She was rude, disrespectful and condescending! I thought UC health was bad but Penrose is a lot worse!
No one wants to be in the Emergency Department, especially when the news is that your loved one would not make. But Penrose Main is the place you want to be. Everyone from security, nursing staff, house supervisor, physician, physician assistants and everyone else our family encountered, was very professional and caring.
