Went here with another couple and 3 young children. The staff was extremely accommodating and in particular our server, Malena was over the top with exceptional service, friendliness and genuine hospitality. All the food was great, but the Carne Asada that I got was next level. I’ve had Carne Asada at dozens of Mexican restaurants if not hundreds, and this was the best I’ve ever had. It was a great cut of meat. The seasoning and presentation was excellent. I will absolutely come back and tell my friends about it!
Made a birthday lunch reservation for my elderly father at 1:45 and had been looking forward to it…. Arrived right on time to be told “we should be prepared to order quickly because the kitchen closes in 15 minutes”…what?? Why allow us to make a reservation when the kitchen is closing? Staff was polite, but it was clear they were trying to hustle us along before we even sat down, and we decided to go elsewhere. The food was really good and really appreciate the vegan and gluten free options clearly labeled on the menu. Hope to come back on a Thursday to try one of the regional dinners. Tastes like authentic Mexican food. Margaritas super yummy and fresh. Servers very friendly and made us feel at home!
Tue night dinner around 7:30pm, tons of tables open but they said they could only seat us anywhere for 45min...other than the bar. So we sat at the empty bar on the patio...super chill, ordered two drinks and dinner. I ordered Huevos Rancheros. She said how do you want your eggs, I said SCRAMBLED. Super easy. Food was good, service needed help, was busy but not crowded, still slower than expected. Taco board was good. Prices are on par with downtown Boulder.
