Apparently I had a soft tissue mass lasered off my foot today. I say "apparently" because Dr. Hurst, in coordination w/ Northern VA Sugery Ctr, knocked me out cold and when I woke up, I was right as rain. With the exception of the pre-op dietary restrictions (no food [12 hrs] and no liquids [5 hrs] leading up to surgery), it felt more like a spa treatment than surgery. 6 years ago…What a great experience having Dr. James Hurst, DPM do my foot surgery. He and his office staff (shout out to Denise) were always kind, courteous, professional, and on time. I was able to have bunion and hammer toe surgery on both feet this year! Dr. Hurst did one foot in May and the other in August. Planning, surgery, and recovery went great! I had a great experience at this office. I’ve been a repeat patient on two different occurrences for treating an ingrown toenail and toenail fungal treatment. Rebekah is friendly and welcoming when I arrive and is always ready to take me back to the room right away. Dr. Hurst is professional and thorough in his examinations and analysis.
