You've already seen it in other reviews, but I'll add my frustration in too. Filled out the online intake form about getting a particular diagnosis this place specializes in. Web site said the form was sent. A week later, no response. If you call in, you will always get voice mail. I've now left a total of three messages a week apart and no one has called me back. Painful process from start to finish. 8 months to get results from an assessment for my daughter. Disgusting!!!!
Dr. Marc Bédard has been my psychologist for the past few years and has been instrumental in helping me through career and life crises. He is kind, patient, understanding, etc. etc. I like CFIR as well. Their staff at the Centre are always kind and patient. The Centre is also a comfortable place to take appointments. The CFIR online system is relatively intuitive with only minor challenges with can be addressed with the help of the team.
My experience here has been nothing but positive. CFIR has some of the most compassionate mental health practitioners in Ottawa, couldn't recommend enough! The wait list is long but certainly worth it. The therapy provided here is life changing.
Very surprised to see many negative reviews as my experience with CFIR is only positive. Went through the complete evaluation and entirely satisfied with results, prices and delays. Would highly recommend.
