I was not impressed at all by Dr. Antonio. I attempted to discuss multiple issues and felt he was dismissive. Addressed a mesh that had surfaced, which he immediately dismissed as "rough skin". My gynecologist of many years and I were in agreement of the mesh eruption and he completely negated it. There were multiple comments from him that didn't sit well; such as telling me one problem "was not that bad". I'm sorry, but who is he to tell me that an issue is not that bad when it has been continually an issue for over two yea... read more

I felt very uncomfortable here for my new patient appointment. On my first visit regarding a sensitive issue, Dr Antonini stuck a catheter up my urethra without warning whatsoever as part of his exam and was very rough in general. Nothing was explained to me beforehand, and some remarks I overheard did not sit right with me. Overall, I did not feel comfortable and safe coming back.

Only gave a 1 star because I can’t give negative. My mother was in the hospital after a complication from a procedure done by Dr. Antonini’s staff. When the hospitalist called Dr. Antonini, on speaker in the room with us, he said that he was on vacation - London, and that it “wasn’t his problem”. She spent 6 days in the hospital because of them.

I can't say enough good things about Central Texas Urogynecology. The staff & facility are top-notch. I felt I was in good hands from the time I entered the office. Then, there is Dr. Antonini, who is a truly rare professional. He is not only a highly skilled surgeon and physician, but he is compassionate and respectful. Dr. Antonini takes time to make sure you have an understanding of your condition and treatments. I highly recommend Central Texas Urogynecology and Dr. Tomas Antonini.
