Doctor Gutierrez, and all the nurses were very competent and helpful which is why it is very unfortunate that they are being dragged down by the terrible office staff. After I got my initial reference to them I called 27 times over the course of a week and a half, leaving just as many voicemails which allegedly "will get responded to within 24 hrs"----- before I finally was able to reach someone and book an appointment. I have to say that Dr. Colato is absolutely amazing and I really liked him and hated having to find a different cardiologist, but I was left no choice, because of how poorly the office is run. I was never able to get ahold of anyone at the office either by phone or by email. I had came in for an appointment and scheduled a follow up and they called and left me a voicemail cancelling the appointment and told me to call back to reschedule and I literally tried for weeks and was unable to get anyone to answer during the normal ... read more
Wait. Be prepared to wait. And wait. And wait. Every single time. Horrible. Wait. Like an hour or more. Do better .
Dr. Colato and staff are very professional and take time to explain conditions and structure of the heart and how it all works together. The technicians performing tests are also knowledgeable and patient as well. I learned at a recent visit that there are issues with their phone system and for now email is now the preferred means of communication. They are working to correct the phone issue.
