CTEC has a monopoly on power in the area, therefore allowing them to charge anything they like for electricity. Very disturbing. Six months ago I sold my home of 16 years, where I had the power to choose my electric provider, therefore I could select a service around my budget. I moved to Harper, Tx on a verbal agreement for purchase of property there and was screwed over, therefore having to make a second move in just a short few months, threw me into stressful and financial situation. The leadership team at CTEC would rather lose another court hearing creating additional costs to the COOP then settle for $95.25. Sent: Tuesday, August 23, 2022 11:06 AM Good morning Robert, I have determined based on the calculations provided by CTEC I am still owed $95.23 to put this matter behind us. This is a small drop in the bucket to avoid larger expenses through litigation. Would you not agree?
