Everyone has their different experience with central regional but my experience was not the greatest I went in when I was five years old and stayed there till I was eight in for three years straight they did nothing to help me recover. A couple years later I went to the adult unit and they are very violent and racist the staff do not help therapeutically at all they love to use your hospitalization against you by whatever is hurting you mentally they used to bring you down more by saying you’re broken
RecommendedMy Sister is there, and as far as I know, they are treating her good. They are nice to us, when we were Visiting.

When I first went up there, The staff are really nice and the food is too
Staff is very rude to children. I was a housekeeper and everyday I would see and hear the staff belittling kids because of their disability’s. Telling them they would never be anything if they are in there! So sad. When I told I was fired. The state will be looking closer at A zero to E zero.
Staff was very nice. Food wasn't terrible. And they made me feel like a person again.
Not equipped to handle children. My son left this place with bruises, nightmares, and paranoia. Medical staff was horrid. He was 6! Do NOT send your children here, and if they have been hurt or mistreated, file a complaint. Do NOT WAIT. It's time to shed light on the horrors that take place in these facilities.
I think it's a good place to be IF you need treatment, like I did
We could not ask for a more patient hospital staff with my brother. Very professional and caring.
