I really like this hospital overall but our last experience was terrible!! There's a nurse I believe named Laura. An older one and she should consider retiring. Be prepared to do your own triage if she's there when you go to ER. Thomas is amazing btw!!! Our baby was retracting and oxygen was in the 80s when we left home and when we got there she slapped an oxygen monitor on for maybe 2 seconds and claimed it was 97 and sent us to a room. Called this evening to see if there was a doctor in emergency as sprit river is closer for us opposed to GP. The ER nurse was an absolute cow & judging from others comments it seems to be the norm

We live in between this hospital and gp. So after having nothing but bad experiences at gp we come here. I was here the other night (Monday 29th) and was treated with compassion. I had the most wonderful male nurse that had me laughing and forgetting about my pain. The doctor and x-ray staff as well were so awesome! I have been coming here for 14yrs and not once have I ever been mistreated. Best hospital I've ever been to in my 50's.
