bakeries This is alocally ownedandoperated bakery. They havea good selectionof donuts, cakespies cookies etc. They do special cakes (like for weddings,birthdays anyspecial occasion) The two things I do not like about them is one theyuse cake frostingtofrost their donuts and two their isnotvery many parking spots. They do a good busy. They havebeen in business for years.
Bakers and Bakeries This place I do not care for. Their donuts(even though I love glaze donuts) I would not reccommend it. They havevery little parking. Some people in Middletownlove it though. They have been in business for years and do special occassion cakes pies etc. They use cake frosting to put on their frosted donuts. They do a good deal of business. I have been in businessesand saw alot of their boxes and bags with their name on them around.
best frosting Central Pastry has the best cake I have ever eaten. Nothing else compares to their frosting. My husband and I both love it!
the place is great I have been going to Central Pastry for years. I assure you they always offer quality products. I asked the owner and they do not use cake icing on their doughnuts, like previously said. the nice lady in the front showed me exactly what they used. OKAY Great bakery items. Over priced for wedding cakes and some of the other items. Doughnuts stink. If I want all icing I'll just get a bowl and sit with it. Trying to find a parking spot I parked on the street and walked down. I bought breads and they were the best. Everything else left me not wanting to return.
Love this place Best glazed donuts that I have ever had - plain and simple! Not sugary like Krispie Kreams not doughy like Dunkin Donuts. Sure, as a mom and pop place located in downtown Middletown there is not much parking. But that just adds to the charm.
Central Pastry Shop is the best by far No.1 Best Bakery in the State & maybe the US buy around 25 cakes every year they are the best my wife & grandchildren will not eat any other cake they are the best
Central Pastry Shop is A WINNER Wonderful, wonderful, an icon in Middletown OH and probably the only business not in danger of failing in the downtown area. Cakes are a must, a birthday without a Central Pastry cake is unheard of in my circle. Bravo to Vera Slamka and the crew!!!!
