VERY POOR We have rented from this company for 4 year's. The last 3 years have dealt with Jane, Nicole and Tom. I have been fighting for disability for 3 yrs and we had permission to break the rent into 2 payments. On top of that we have a Dr note requesting we move from 3 floor to main floor. They wanted to charge us a new deposit, credit checks and so on. We have been battling them with ND Fair Housing for Disability and now they have given notice that we have to move by August 31. Valley Rental is a nasty company. I have worked in apartment maintenance for multiple years and 4 different properties in 2 states. This corporation charges you $50 every time they come to do maintenance in your apartment. They don't supply light bulbs or even batteries for the fire alarms. I married a woman who was already living here and we have just 4 months left on her lease. They haven't been hospitable at all. This company is not honest, they also are crooks. If you are considering renting from them, consider this your warning not to. To back up my statements, they evicted my wife after giving proper notification of termination of the lease somehow and after she moved out. They even got a judgment against her and we are both honest, hard working people! This is not the only case that I have heard just like this involving Valley Rental. BEWARE!
Don't rent here. poorly built, drafty and when the wind blows your window/patio blinds wave with the wind. Patio and screen doors don't work or lock. Hallways need to be painted due to multiple patch jobs. Rugs look shabby. Appliances are so cheap, the stove doesn't have an oven cleaner and the oven light is not automatic...you have to turn it on. NO insulation...you hear everything every neighbor is doing. Very loud washers and dryers are allowed to run at 2:00 AM and wake you up. BAD apartment.
