I highly recommend Central Pacific Construction and Vicente Salas. Vicente managed every aspect of our retrofit project and coordinated the entire process with the California Earthquake Authority. Everything went very smoothly and Vicente and his team were great professionals.

Central Pacific Construction (Rick Carrasco and John Sanchez) bid on the foundation work for a set of city approved engineered plans for a second story addition to an existing single story house (bid $98,000). The work involved addition and reinforcement to an existing pier and grade beam foundation system. The owner Rick Carrasco is always absconding and never available. His usual excuse is that he is traveling or has a family emergency. He is a glib talker and it takes a while to realize that he actually doesn't know much about the job or the technicalities. But meanwhile he has been working in my crawl space for 6 months and come up with huge change orders. I had read other posting on Central Pacific Construction which made me chose them.It was a great decision having them do my Brace and Bolt project. After the work was completed and the San Jose Contractor passed the job I was contacted By Twining Inc that the state uses to do a follow up inspection. The inspector went under the house and when he came out he told me that it was one of the best jobs he had ever seen. I would recommend Central Pacific Construction to anyone that need the Brace & Bolt for their home.

Rick, his supervisors and workers were professional, did excellent work according to the inspector, and were flexible with my schedule. I would not hesitate to hire again and highly recommend.
