I saw Shawn Acino. He didn’t want to look at my real issue. He just kept talking over me. And said my problem was hernias when my CT scan he was sent don’t show hernias. Don’t go here you will get a runaround. The quality director ended up making things right with me because there wasn’t enough documentation about the appointment but still wouldn’t recommend Shawn
Shawn Acino performed a prostate biopsy on me two years ago and it was a horrible experience. Neither he nor his staff informed me of what to expect during the procedure. I was cut during the procedure which caused a bleed, but staff told me to pull up my pants and leave. I bled for 3 hours until I passed out, ended up in the ER, and then in the hospital for the night. When Shawn Acino visited me in the hospital he said, "I hear you had a bleeding issue. That would have been good to know" making it sound like it was my fault... read more
