I was very frustrated with my husband's personality and finding it very difficult to deal with him. I found out about D-can during the senior expo 2 years ago. Dr Z. Took his time explaining what his organization did and encouraged me to attend one of the support groups. I was glad I did, I made a number of friends and continue to go each month. D-CAN has been - and continues to be - a valuable resource and support in our attempts to maintain our best quality of health in our "maturing" times.
I just began attending the free support groups and training sessions. What a valuable resource and suppport for those of us who are learning "what to do" and "what to say" while caring for loved ones with dementia. It's wonderful to be able to share and to hear the stories and experiences of others. I'm so very grateful.
