The staff at Central Michigan Orthopedics is fantastic! My daughter had an injury right before a major holiday, and they got us in right away. Our appointment was quick but thorough, with almost no wait time. The staff called later the next week to check on her and make sure things were going ok. I have full confidence in Dr. Moutsatson and would recommend him to anyone!
CMO was amazing at getting my daughter in within 24 hours of her injury, and it was apparent immediately that Dr. Ryan Lilly is a great and talented surgeon. The hospital staff at McLaren had many great things to say about him.

Dr. Moutsatson replaced my right hip in 2024 and my left hip in 2025. He uses what is known as the anterior approach for total joint replacement of the hip. As I understand it, the advantages of the anterior approach for total hip joint replacements are less pain after surgery, a quicker recovery time and fewer restrictions when compared with other types of total hip joint replacement methods.
