Refinishing floors in a 1935 house is never an easy feat, especially with people and dogs in residence. Peter's crew did an awesome job, and worked with us so we could stay in the house while it was going on! Highly recommend!

He gave a very reasonable quote/estimate, and worked back and forth with my wife and I to understand the whole process. In our kitchen, we had tile on top of linoleum that had to all be ripped out. Peter Barber did our entire house in August 2025 with hardwood floors. He installed new hardwood floors and refinished the remainder of the house. The floors came out beautiful! Peter is very professional and he finished the entire project on time. We couldn’t be happier and he was reasonably priced!

We recently had Central Mass Hardwood refinish the hardwood floors throughout the first floor of our new house, including detailed cabinet areas and stairs, and we’re very happy with the results. The crew was extremely detail-oriented with the sanding, including a lot of careful manual sanding around the perimeter, on stairs, and other tricky spots like around spindles.
