We purchased a Cobia 245cc from Central Marine, Drew Denis was our sales representative. Drew was very attentive and answered all of our questions both before the purchase and after. Recently we took our 2021 Barletta lusso 25ue a $190,000 boat in for warranty to replace the interior, radio, amp, battery switch, both Bimini tops and covers. After 5 months, we got our boat back. Central Marine lied about replacing the amp and battery switch. They installed the captions seat backwards, cross threaded the bolts so bad 1 bolt won't even go in. They installed the changing room backwards and did not install the shocks to hold it open. They battery straps were not clipped. They set the battery on the straps. Th... read more
We bought a World Cat about six months ago and we are not only still happy with the boat, but the overall sales and service experience has been great. I cannot speak highly enough of Kiefer in sales, and Chris in service consistently goes above and beyond.
Central Marine Sales did a great job on the sales side. The buying experience was smooth, professional, and they were knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. I was very happy with the boat purchase itself and felt well taken care of during the sale. The only real downfall is the service department. When you buy a new boat, you expect to be able to trust and rely on the service team where you purchased it. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case here.
