This use to be such a well managed office but now I am very disappointed. My daughter went in for a strep and flu test a couple weeks ago. The office told us that they would call in the next 2 hours with the results. 3 hours passed and I had to call for the results myself and they acted like they were surprised no one called me. My sons doctor was fabulous but every time I needed to speak to a nurse she was very rude and unpleasant to talk to!
Absolutely the worse doctors office in the world. The way i was spoken to tonight is not acceptable. They just lost my children as patients. I will go to some where that will be decent to me and my childrens needs
They cancelled two checkups that were made A YEAR IN ADVANCE for my children and then couldn't reschedule for more than 3 months and not even with my provider. We have been here 11 years and will be leaving due to the inconvenience of multiple reschedules on their behalf, lack of availability for appointments, and booking appointments in the wrong year (yes this happened). Some good providers, but the management/organization is a disaster.
Absolutely discouraged with this office. Have needed a prior authorization for my sons meds and more then a week later still nothing.
By far the LEAST proactive doctor’s office. They’d apparently rather your kid end up in the ER with his throat nearly closed off only to need the same thing that could have been prescribed in the doctor’s office in the first place that would have prevented the ER visit. Children should not have to get as sick as possible before receiving appropriate treatment. Parental input and preventative care for their children are important!
Absolutely love the doctors at Central Maine Pediatrics. My daughter has been there since birth and we have always had a great experience
