We had a passive system and they installed a fan for us. The fan is installed and works as it should. The electrical they did in the attic was subpar though, I wish I’d have done that myself. There was wire everywhere and it wasn’t stapled down. They came back to fix this after we called though. If have a passive system and you’re young and knowledgeable enough to install your own fan, I’d recommend doing it yourself. You’re paying a premium for a pretty simple job, for the price you pay, you’d expect premium work.
