We are sorry to hear that you feel that way. The risk of rubbing and irritation can be common over time with an industrial piercing. This is why we do not start off with any type of metal. We do pierce with PTFE which reduces friction, It is commonly used in surgical interventions. Also, it interferes with the ability of bacteria and other infectious agents that could result in a staph infection.
