After a half hour waiting with just 2 other people in the waiting room they took my dog. After another hour and a half I asked and they told me a doc hadn't even seen my dog. So my dog was sitting by herself for an hour and a half?? I took my dog and left. I went to my regular vet the next day.
Words can't describe how the staff makes me feel when I had to put down both my cats in a 2.5 year span. They're so extremely compassionate during such a hard time. I appreciate everyone that works there, and their kind souls. Thank you for kind words and sympathy it really means more than I could ever express. So worth the 55min drive to take my pays there to be laid to rest.
I debated for a long time posting a review but after seeing all the negative comments I wanted to say my bit. I have been to Central in Guilford twice and unfortunately both visits' results in the loss of a pet. With both visits the staff was nothing short of courteous, respectful and kind. They explained things each step of the way and gave us time to say our goodbyes. Thank you to Dr. Gross and Dr. Forgash along with Lisa and their team of techs who took great care of our dog who arrived very sick. In a waiting room full of sick animals the wait was very short, unlike other emergency vets where we have seen multiple hour long waits. They turned things around and got her home as soon as they could. They always took time to call with updates throughout her stay multiple times a day, answer questions, and truly care for our Ham. NOT A 24 HOUR VET!!!!! Showed up for a medical emergency. Waited an hour before being told the doctor won't be in for another 2 hours. This was at~7:30am during the week. Unbelievable. To respond to the owner: I was one of those people who needed emergency attention as they woke up. I called ahead of my arrival, I was seen immediately, waited ~40 minutes, and THEN was told there would not be a vet on site for at least 2 hours.
