Ms.Yolanda a nurse at Amedisys Home health needs to be recognized . I truly appreciate everything she has done for my family. In the 2 visits she’s had with my father. Ms.Yolanda answered all my questions and even called my father’s primary care doctor to make sure things were in order, please keep in mind I’ve asked several people the same question and got nothing explained or answered. With this new way of living and a million questions, not once did she make me or my family feel like a bother. Thank you
Service was set up but only ONE person showed up the OT was coming canceled nurse was coming called said shes at emergency room sick, do u want me to still come? She was coming next day but didn't show up till mid evening when we plan to take mom to hospital. I know they have to travel back n forth across town but the no show and constant calling for someone fell short.
STAY AWAY!!!! We got set up for home care for my grandpa and the wrong office took us on. The initial appointment was a 15 minute joke. Didn’t even look at his wounds. No vitals. And left. We had to make several calls, with management included to get this sorted. After a few appointments they let us know that his home isn’t in their area!! That we should be with another Amedysis branch!!! So ALLL The initial appts had to be redone. It’s been DAYYSS and he still hasn’t had a nurse visit as they’ve not sent one from the other ... read more
PT came three times and discharged my son for no progress, and he did very little. OT was a total waste of time. We lost a month of progress because of their inability to provide adequate service. He is now doing great at an outpatient rehab facility.
