Horrible in-patient care at Advent Health Winter Park. The MD failed to provide meds or check to see that thromboguards were in place. Then I received a follow up appt from a nurse (practitioner?) for which I was charged a full MD visit.
They are "predator" doctors who go to patients rooms while they are in the hospital, unaware of why these Dr's are there, and/or without their consent. These patients already have their own Dr's, yet AdventHealth sends a Dr from this group to the patients' hospital room (at their most vulnerable) subsequently billing the patients' insurance company for "their services". Patients did NOT ask for, nor authorize any Doctor from this group for their services. What a scam!!
They will bill you 1 year later. Then insurance provider does not want to pay because of how long it took them to bill.
Recent change in management on 9/13/21. Actually, Spectrum Medical Partner and CFIM fired their CEO and President Dr. Nagda for unknow reasons. Poor management: I have alerted multiple times to CFIM management team to check on their physicians' board certification status. It is one of the most important criteria to practice medicine in the hospital and delivering good quality care to their patients. They have doctors in their group who could not get board certified.
