My experience so far has left me very displeased. I went in wanting a routine cleaning but was given a full exam instead and told I needed a deep cleaning plus treatment for a cavity. I was then informed it would take three weeks for insurance approval and that I needed medical clearance because of the blood thinner I’m on. I stopped going here after an appointment in December to fit a permanent crown. January comes and I receive a bill from this dentist office for $1.4k. When you receive a bill you'll see a procedure code that corresponds to what happened in the appointment and you can find it easily in their treatment plan to know what it was for. I kid you not, they are trying to charge me for a procedure I had done at a different dentist office several months later. Today was my “new patient” appointment with Dr. Barrera. I was scheduled for 10:00 AM, so I arrived at 9:30 AM. I patiently waited until I realized that no one communicated the delay. At 11 AM, I approached the front desk to confirm my appointment time. The young lady went to the back and advised that they were running behind but I would be next. Too many excuses. Doctor English is horrible. I had to ask nurses to translate. They spoke English too. Lol refused to fix. Said. Go back to other office? Need o sau more?
