I was admitted to UF Health Spanish Plains hospital on 8/12 and released on 8/15 (room 4320) I would like to recognize an outstanding employee (Tech) Saira who daily went above and beyond to ensure that I was always comfortable during my admission. From always asking if I needed water, did I eat, and if I didn’t she would call down or get me something. She’d make sure I was cleaned, as well as my bedding when I was able to get up. I was in the hospital on Aug 4-6. Monday they did blood work and urine. Tuesday morning I asked if results were back on my urine. No results back yet. Tuesday evening I asked again and was told there was no problem with my urine. Wednesday I was discharged and told to monitor my sugar because of hypoglycemia. I asked for a glucose monitor script to be sent to the pharmacy. The doctor sent in for the monitor but did not send for the test strips or the lancets. Absolutely horrible, and a very very rude staff in the ER.
The staff that I encountered when I took my mom there, where all rude and didn't do anything to help her.
I have recently been released from the hospital. I was very happy with the care I received. I was on the 4th floor and that team is awesome. They were very caring, polite and took care of all my needs.
