I feel it is more about the money than the patient. I went in for my knees and mentioned I had fallen a day or two ago and my shoulder hurt. She acted as if she hadn't heard me. Then, when I asked what to do about my shoulder, she advised me to first obtain a referral. She was not at all concerned that it hurt. I only had a referral for my knees!
