My elderly parents are frequent users of this service unfortunately because of their age. However, they are always polite, respectful, and knowledgeable. Specifically John, Jacob, and Sara who are the techs we see most often.
They are doing some sketchy stuff. I was alone during the EMT ride and remember the first few minutes, but then somehow I have no memory of the ride, and it took a long time for me to get to the hospital . I woke up when we arrived at Northeast Georgia Hospital, they unbuckled me from the seat. I was not on the gurney at any point of the ride. I remember walking out of the back of the EMT and entering the hospital on my own, with the EMTs right behind me. So what’s going on???
I don't know if they can technically be called an ambulance service when they provide the same service as the police hauling you off in handcuffs. There's just a secured chair in the back with no one there and no medical equipment. Might as well be the back of a police car - free! Sometimes a police car comes instead of an ambulance, which is one reason for the comparison.
Horrendous company. Trying to bill me for a bill my insurance already paid and threatening to send for collections for an emergency hospital to hospital transport. Each representative incredibly unhelpful and rude. They also don’t uphold the Surprise Billing act. Which is illegal. Would not recommend ever using the services of this company.
Billing is absurd. Just absurd.
