Not all the therapists there are LGBTQ friendly. Let that be known - the first two therapists I saw here were NOT an LGBTQ ally whatsoever and had absolutely no business not only working with transgender individuals, or any lgbtq person but also I would certainly say no business working in the mental health field or with people dealing with mental illness PERIOD. This recommendation is based on about 3 visits to this office. The Riverside location is clean, located close to the freeway exit/entrance and tons of parking. Every staff member I have come across seems to be very friendly and outgoing. I bring my son to this location for counseling. While I’m in the waiting area during his session they often have the tv on with a movie, coffee/water and a complimentary snack. I think we will continue coming because finding an awesome staff like theirs is very difficult.
Sherry and Jill are amazing therapists. I met them years ago at a conference and thoroughly enjoy them. They are so warm and inviting. I would highly recommend Central Counseling Center for those who need support.
