After my first heart transplant, I had migraines and chronic daily headache, likely caused by the meds I had to take to keep my heart safe. I was sent to the Duke pain clinic, where, over. 8 1/2 years, my tolerance to opiates had climbed until I was taking 60 mg of Dilaudid every day. In 2018, the doctor told me I had a somewhat common problem with my heart, and there was no treatment for it. It would kill me. They are efficient, professional and fast. I don’t live in Durham but I get my compounded prescription faster from them than anyone in town. Donna is always so friendly and helpful
All the staff bother to KNOW me! It’s a huge challenge to find a knowledgeable & conscientious physician to prescribe & monitor hormone replacement therapy. The staff here plays a huge role in filling that gap by knowing and looking out for their patients. They are TOP NOTCH!
