This place is run horribly. The poor dishevel look on the people waiting for hours to get blood work done was just sad. Understaffed, horribly run and not efficient at all. Be prepared to wait HOURS when you come here.
These are covid testing sites and they aren’t doing ANYTHING to keep their patients safe. No social distancing. They are still using a touchscreen to sign everyone in. I saw an employee walk in without a mask. This is a joke.
Terrible experience almost every single time I have came here. Besides the first few experiences being sub par due to the extremely short and rude front desk person and getting an extremely bruised arm from a bad draw, my most recent was extremely disappointing. I went in on a Wednesday at 12:45 with paper work for a 48 hr draw, the front desk lady was her typical rude self, directing me around the desk with her pointer finger with no words. I have been here for 30 minutes and they’ve helped all of 2 people. The waiting room is almost full. Horribly inefficient.
I used to be very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the staff. Something has changed (did they get new owners???) My experiences their have gotten much worse over the past few months. My last 2 visits had me waiting 30 or more minutes JUST TO CHECK IN. I left The lab in SLO today after waiting 40 minutes to check in. It is ridiculous. The front desk staff is incredibly rude and obviously unorganized. They need training. I need a new lab!
Left hand and right hand don’t know what they are doing. Cash pay, no insurance. Take CHILD in for blood draw. Have CC and checkbook out. Told not today needs to go through billing to get cash discount. Bills start arriving. Call, told to go in and make payment. Finally make it in to pay and told no longer accepting payments at location and to call. Life happens with other medical emergencies. Get call from collections for minor child and her debt. Called.
