This program can be resourceful and educational to some. To others the groups maybe a form of therapy. The councilors/instuctors are very helpful and compassionate. The staff works well with you achieving personal growth and success and it’s a very simple program process. Enrollment wasn’t difficult and the programs classes/sessions maybe long but they are full of people who are relatively relatable. My personal experience was pleasant.
Run!! Run as far away from this place as you can!!! Since COVID-19, you have access to other programs via Zoom. If you sign up for this program you will wish you hadn't. The complaints for both Lompoc and Santa Maria are valid. They are holding my license hostage because I made a complaint to DHCS Licensing and Certification Division. Central Coast Headway claims they don't have my records because they sent my file to the state. That's not how it works. Records are faxed for DHCS investigations, not seized.
