The don't answer the phone calls
On booking an appointment today, I was told there would be a $50 fee for the “nurse’s time” to give my child the FREE childhood vaccinations because we were behind schedule - a management policy. This unexpected fee adds pressure on families, especially in today’s economy. I hope the clinic reconsiders this policy to keep essential vaccinations accessible for all children.
Always had fabulous experiences with the doctors but availability is poor and appointments are cancelled at the last minute or moved to over the phone when not appropriate regularly. Should that be incompatible with your heath needs they will charge you to access your medical records if you need to see another doctor instead which feels exploitative in those circumstances when the issue could be solved with shared patient care.
The last few times I've been to Central clinic I have been very impressed including the primary care clinic, general practice and nurses station. I'm elated with rhe experince I had today in particular. Firstly, I saw Dr. Sri Chepuri. Wow, it was so great to have a doctor who listens and acts. He didn't dismiss anything as my anxiety, was very patient and actually followed up with tests and a plan. Secondly, I want to mention the reception staff. We’ve been seeing Dr. Sri Chepuri at Central Clinic Warragul for about two years, and I can confidently say he’s one of the most caring and thorough GPs we’ve had. He always takes the time to listen, follows up consistently, and offers thoughtful suggestions to help us improve our overall health.
