This location offers general healthcare, free acupuncture 5 days a week (awesome!!!), and is not limited to houseless people or persons with addiction. I chose to go here because it’s close by and covered by insurance. Yesterday, I had an infuriating encounter with a man who assumed I littered because a receipt blew onto the ground near me. He demanded that I pick it up, even though it clearly wasn’t mine. The arrogance and entitlement in that moment were unbelievable — especially considering how often white people throw trash all over downtown without anyone saying a word.
