out-of-town visitor The Champlain Triple Cream cheese is the best I've had this side of France. Tastes like the cow was milked that morning. Mmmmm. Friendly, helpful service too.
RecommendedI went to the shop yesterday for some pre-thanksgiving purchases, I am never disappointed about the wine selection. Really friendly environment, the staff was celebrating and they offered me a glass of delicious lambrusco (what a deal for an italian). About a month ago I stopped by after 8 pm, they let me in and made my buy a bottle even if it was late. This is the kind of place I need in my neighborhood. totally!
Super weird customer service here. I asked to order some cheese and prosciutto and the woman behind the counter just stared at me for a while. She did this after every question I asked, instead of offering ideas/suggestions. She seemed pretty annoyed that I was there trying to make a purchase. No worries, will go elsewhere!

Central Bottle has a keen eye for the good stuff. I have yet to be disappointed by any of their quality naturally-produced wine and food. They make it their mission to make each guest feel special. Their staff is well-trained and super friendly and warm. The layout and design of the shop just adds to the appeal. I love it when they take the guesswork out of dinner and pairings. Cannot recommend enough. A+++
Don't go here particularly if you care about the environment. After years of going here I'll never return. I've never been treated so badly at any store. I bike and on my way home from work can't lock up outside. This was never a problem and I could leave my immaculately clean bike by the door or just walk it. Until today. When a staff member freaked out, came out from behind the counter, walked me out of the store, and was extremely rude.
