Great customer service and the owner Art is a fair person. I have had a lot of work done there with no problems.
Honesty... Not worth it. – So, if you like drugged out employees working on your ride (definitely not using medicinal marijuana) this place is for you! Like overpaying? Enjoy your intelligence being questioned? Dirty offices? Limited selection? Horrible parking? Well, yet again, this place is for you! But DEFINITELY NOT for me. The Gary experience – Wherever you go stay clear. You are better off going to a reputable shop like al&ed, where you know you will pay more than the fair share. They make money on labor as well as your components at retail price while telling you its his prices. And their tint guys are sloppy and use water from the sink to do your tints.
Opened in 86. Should have closed in 87 – Owner spent more time hitting on my fiance while a crappy security alarm was being installed. Not worth it.
Dont waste your time. Your better off going to best buy or Al&Eds..forget about any deals worst shop in LA – WOW what a dump... It looks like it hasn't been cleaned since 1980 , and same with the inventory wanted to upgrade my stereo but everything in the shop was a downgrade. The inventory was all old , most of it looked used . The service was not worth the 5 minutes I spent waiting for it, nobody had a clue i was there , and when they did show up they were lost when I asked them a simple question. Central Auto Sound's technician did a great job installimg my new speakers and amplified woofer. I did have to bring the car back a second time to rewire the woofer. However, it needed rewiring due to the car not the installation and Central Auto Sound did not charge me extra for their time. I also had the windows tinted. Central Auto Sound's tint technician did an awesome job on my windows. In fact I plan to go back and have my front window tinted as well. Central Auto Sound in Glendale – How do they stay in business! I took my car in for a handsfree kit and they left huge gaps and scratches in the dash panel. The owner Art said there was nothing wrong with it. He was very agitated that I found a problem with the job and was talking so fast and angry like he was going a 1000 miles an hour. Crazy place dont go there.
Job well done! – I have to admit, due to the first review mentioned on this site, I was a bit skeptical to go here. But being that Central Autosound was in business for so many years, I thought, "well, this place has got to be doing something right to stay in business for so long." I brought my car in to get a radio and speakers installed in my car and voila ... it was all done in 3 hours with no scratches on my car whatsoever. We aim to please everyone who walks through our door, but unfortunately that can be a challange. .
