Listen to the negative reviews- I would advise not to go here. My cat had a suspected UTI. We came on Sunday (recommended by our regular vet because they couldnt fit any more emergencies in). We were just hoping to get antibiotics. But they wanted to run tests first - so we agreed. We spent over $1k and waited 3 hours at the vet (exam, blood and urine test, IV fluids, antinausea shot, anti inflammatories, pain meds).. and we were sent home and told to wait for an email for a urine analysis to come in as they weren't sure wha... read more
Really happy with my experience at Central Animal Hospital. I had to bring my cat in after she got a puncture wound from an animal fight. The staff were so attentive and helpful, and the doctor was great. They made sure my cat was comfortable, gave her medication, and were able to seal the wound. I really appreciate the care they gave her! I would recommend this hospital to anyone needing emergency pet care.
Extremely disappointing experience at Central Animal Emergency Clinic in Coquitlam. We waited about an hour in a room because Dr. Sukhmanjit Singh apparently forgot about us. He initially dismissed my concerns and said he didn’t see an issue with my dog. Only after I insisted did he shave her paw and discover a problem. When my 12-lb dog became irritated and wouldn’t let him touch her, they struggled to handle her and recommended sedation. They wanted over $900 for blood work before sedation. If I could write a -* I would. I had to bring my therapy cat in for observation after dental surgery. I could not believe how the "Vet" was so rude, unprofessional in language and presentation (maybe change your scrub shirt once a week hey), He did not even review her chart, had no idea what meds she required or WHY???? Then the tech came in, and I am in now way prejudice but it would be beneficial if he spoke fluent english, but it clearly did not matter because all he was interested in was my chest!
