Physician Paul Meirick, MD, FACP is a cool dude.
Poor experience with rheumatology. I was told my symptoms would be clinically diagnosed and thoroughly investigated. I have multiple areas in question. One MRI was complete and it was enough for the NPR to state they could nothing for me and just recommended me to physical therapy. They didn't look at the other affected areas until I continued to push for further imaging.
I had gotten a mri ordered by my doctor to have with contrast. I got it approved with my insurance and went in to get done, while I was laying on the table getting some of the test done waiting for the contrast when I asked when they would be providing the contrast they said they weren’t going to be as the radiologist said it wasn’t needed as they didn’t see a need for it and asked me what I thought my condition was needed for. I don’t know, but re-ordering Mangiero. Seemd complicated for the staff and I don’t understand the hangup or the delay so I’m not happy with Central care right now.
Centra Care Plaza is not a pleasant journey, although the doctors are great. Whoever designed this building left much to be desired. First, the building is huge. Your treck from your car, to the building is a long one. Not fun if you are in pain or sick, old, or are experiencing bad weather. Then depending on where you need to go inside the building, you have another long journey. Once again, if you are sick or in pain, or have trouble walking, it's miserable.
